Mrs. Millicent Kaleem

Millicent has over fifteen years in-depth experience in entrepreneurship development, project management, micro financing, business advocacy, value chain, women and youth empowerment, organizational development and girls’ education. She has equipped women and youth led enterprises with financial knowledge, technical and vocational skills, and empowered to become leaders of change and contribute to the diversification of their rural economies.

Experience & Activities

She has over the years built excellent and remarkable working relations with governmental, community-based, micro, and small business associations as well as non-governmental organizations to support SME’s development.

Under her supervision and mentorship, enterprises have moved from subsistence to growth-oriented, employment-generating, and profit-making enterprises. She is a certified CEFE/GIZ business trainer and an accredited Business Advocacy Service Provider for BUSAC Fund, a multi-million-dollar donor project support for private sector development in Ghana since 2006, particularly for MSMEs capacity building and development.

Her interactive techniques of creating the enabling environment for doing business, rendering business counseling/advisory services, facilitating stakeholder engagements, SME’s access to finance, conducting needs assessments, preparing business plans, designing training manuals, and facilitating participatory entrepreneurship training using adult learning techniques ensures the success of her work.
